I think BP was saying that people are being extra harsh on CB because he is black. FL said, dude, the guy hit and bit a women, he is a piece of shit, whether he is white or black. I have to agree with him. I find no lower class of man then one that would hit a girl, what is he proving? That he is tougher than her? What do you think the chances are that CB would bite and punch DMX or 50 if CB got pissed at them? Then he also bites her???? That is some straight up bitch shit. No excuses, no "I didn't think things through" crap, he is a little bitch. Of course, all this is assuming that he in fact did what he is accused of or that she wasn't trying to stab him or something. Of course people are going to convict him before any news comes out, that is the price of celebrity.

Sorry I was snippy last night, I had just had a confrontation with a teacher (who wouldn't let a fucking doctoral student who only had a half-hour to drive from work to his awful class use the goddamn restroom during an exam) and was in a pissy mood. I wasn't projecting or anything (prof is one of the most caucasian people I've ever met), he just really pissed me off. And I told him so. And the test was essay, so he can be as subjective as he wants when he grades my paper.
I read your post, felt you were going through extreme ethical contortions to defend the guy, and unloaded, I should've calmed down a bit first.

Anyway, I think people should publicly judge Chris, if only to let him and others know that it's not acceptable to hit or bite women. If religion is no longer effective to enforce moral behavior, than social pressures must take its place.

So now the word is that they've Chris Brown and Rihanna were broken up, but their "people" wanted them to still be seen out together as if they were a couple. They were scheduled to go to the Grammys together in a limo when Mr. Brown apparently decided to pick up his new girlfriend (She's is playing Aaliyah in movie coming out soon). Rihanna gets pissed punches him in the face first then gets beat down.

Well, if that's the case, then she's a huge piece of shit too.

The more I read about this the less it seems like anyone has any idea what the hell happened.

My argument yesterday was not really defending Chris for doing what he did, it was mostly based on the fact that at the time we did not know anything we (think) we know now. Yesterday Rihanna was reported to have no injuries and placed charges based on the threats by Brown. The punch and bite appeared to not have caused too much damaged according to the articles I've read. Everything I've read suggested to me that the real loser was Brown's career. Which is why I though it could have been just a stupid mistake on his part (it doesn't take a lot for it to be assault). It is now clear however that it was a vicious attack worthy of the consequences he will face. Nope, never said that.

Jeez, four pages devoted to two stupid kids who punched each other.

I truly don't know what the big deal is. He's a loser, she's plain looking, that's it.
