I highly doubt it. This is bad, but he can recover. He's already hired a PR firm that specializes in crises management. They issued a very succinct 5 sentence public statement for him which was pretty well done. So far he's kept mum and hasn't dug himself in any deeper which is a good sign for him. The downside is that his fanbase is mostly female. Tabloids will trash him because it's all girls who buy their magazines, and every girl is going to empathize with the girl, Rihanna, attacked by her no-good abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown. The one saving grace for him may be that hip-hop audiences are so damn fickle. He's still making hits, and the public will probably forget all about this in a few months once something new comes along in the world of entertainment. 2 years from now, people might look back at this as just another hiatus from music where he stepped back from the public eye. I can't imagine girls at clubs saying to each other "this new Chris Brown song is crazy... but he punched Rihanna a few years ago, so I'm not going to dance to it"
