That is a good one, especially "Upward Over the Mountain" and "Promising Light."

I probably listen to Our Endless Numbered Days and The Sea and The Rhythm the most of his albums, though my favorite song is "Trapeze Swinger." The title track from The Sea and the Rhythm is pretty powerful too.

Hope you enjoy his work!

There is nothing chill about grimy "bros" playing the most-watered-down vaguely stolen-from-(insert ethnic tradition here) garbage. It is intellectually, morally and artistically bankrupt. I would not piss on a jack johnson fan if he were on fire. You know what is chill? Chill is your pathetic suburban routine that somehow manages to make this asinine mediocrity sound exciting. Chill is going to a second tier school on mommy and daddy's dime so you can mostly shoot beer pong, lay the odd fat chick and eke out b's in classes that Japanese 5th graders would laugh at. Chill is TAKING A WEBSITE WITH THE SISYPHEAN TASK OF RESTORING THE SLIMMEST MODICUM OF TASTE TO THE DESPICABLE CULTURAL WASTELAND OF MODERN WESTERN SOCIETY AND THEN SHITTING ALL OVER IT WITH YOUR SOPHOMORIC TRASH. Jason Mraz....I would rather listen to the horrid death rattle of a fatal gash in my own windpipe.

All that anger, all that rage, and you'll still never get your parents' approval.

Mark Knopfler is great. The Ragpicker's Dream is a phenominal album. He was the singer/lead guitar for the Dire Straights, and went largely acoustic for his subsequent solo career. Pretty much everything that I've heard from him has been incredible.

The song "Some Grass" by Sleep is truly hypnotizing and create a trance-like state when listen to repeatedly.

I've dug Ottmar Liebert for a while now since Snake Charmer.
