Should I be buying wider collars for my face if I plan to button the top bottom? This shirt is going to be relegated to casual wear only.

Unless you're trying to make an ironic statement, I would never wear this collar shape with a tie or buttoned all the way. I'd certainly go for shorter points, and also probably wider spread.

Have a quick look through some WAYWN posts to see what collars you like and what you don't like. I personally have a strong preference for a collar that's widespread enough that the points are not or barely visible when my jacket is on. Others prefer a medium spread - but even with a narrower spread, the point length here just doesn't work

Which collar did you select?

i have the cutaway and widespread collars from Nialma. I dont like plain straight one's like you have, but my face is quite narrow.

I received my other three shirts and will post pics soon. The fit is much better. I'll probably just increase the sleeve length by .25" on the left and .5" on the right.

I don't have much to add to what others have said, except that it doesn't seem disastrous to me. It's a test shirt after all!

Is this their slim fit/fitted option?
