I gave up gym for muay thai? Fucking hell my little buddy, you gave up life to post on the internet.

If you choose to believe all that so you can sleep better and give you some sort of moral victory over me on the internet, be my guest.

If you paid attention in school, you know that the past tense of “pay” is “paid” except in the special sense that has to do with ropes: “He payed out the line to the smuggler in the rowboat.”

CAPITALIZE YOUR LETTERS All numbers below 10 should be written out in word form. Additionally, a proper ellipses has only three punctuation marks, no more, no less.

Don't tell me you didn't cheat plenty along the way.

Plus, being able to speak your mother tongue is overrated.

oh my English has totally suffered for the time out of Australia. I cannot write like I used to, just so out of practice. I find myself lost for the right word far more than I used to be. I habitually speak pidgin and catch myself doing that even when talking to other native speakers. These are not good things. Related question Son, has your Vietnamese gone downhill?

Quickly. Every time I'm about 9 months removed from a home visit, it's almost expected that someone would make fun of me for speaking Vietnamese like an American , both in accent (!) and lack of flow . Doesn't help the only times I speak it (or use it, period) are during phone calls with the fam and a few friends. Haven't had to do any writing for like 4 years, so I wouldn't know, and probablly don't want to.
