Dominican Republic Travel

Want to travel here but like always I'm curious if anyone has a recommendation for a place to stay. We were looking at Natura Cabanas but no AC, TV or windows on Huts. Heard there are lots of Mosquitoes and you wake up eaten alive. We want low key, boutique style, on beach, clean place. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

I have stayed in Virgin Gorda, and Tortola. Both are part of the BVI's. I don't know if I would do the windowless thing. I'm not big on getting eaten alive.
