Getting rid of white wine stain on suede shoes?

Well, I recently bought another pair of Clarks dark brown suede desert boots to beat around. Unfortunately, they're now beat up in the wrong way. Not 2 days after I bought them, I was at a small house party where a rather obnoxious girl bumped a cocktail table, spilling part of a glass of white wine on one of my shoes. Does anyone know of a good way to get that stain out without ruining the suede? It looks pretty ridiculous with one stained shoe and one that looks brand new.

If the wine stayed on the surface, you may be lucky.

Try bushing the suede out with a nylon suede brush. Go over the effected area lightly with very fine sandpaper. Don't rub to hard! Brush again. If that doesn't work, go over both shoes with Lincoln E-Z cleaner. Let dry and brush again. If you can still see the stain, spray them with a coat of dark brown suede renew. Let dry and brush again. Reapply if necessary.

It's always a good idea to spray a coat of waterproof on suede before you wear them for the first time. In cases like this it may have added enough protection to repel the stain. Every once in a while (maybe 3 or 4 wearings) apply another coat.

I dropped a piece of lettuce drenched in oily dressing right on a light tan Borrelli. A pencil eraser and a suede brush removed most of it. I was nearly in tears (not really, but it fits. LOL).

You could try kicking the obnoxious girl until the stain comes out. If that fails, try shampoo.
