I emailed Wolverine a while ago as I live near Toronto also. They told me they didn't have any Canadian retailers set up yet.

Actually wolverine is about 120 by current marvel 616 continuity despite the fact that typical aging and time continuity doesn't really apply to many other marvel characters outside Captain America, Bucky and a handful of others.[/comic nerd] Just an update, based on Wolverines promo photos, the models are wearing gentlemen AND garrison models so there seems to be a good chance the whole line is coming to fruition.

All,
Wolverine has asked that we not sell the 1000 mile boot or the Heritage line on our website. We still will carry them, but we won't have them posted on our online store. Though we respectfully disagree with them, we will comply. We are still talking with them on this, but as of today, this is Wolverine's policy. That being said, I will still take phone orders for the shoes. You may also e-mail with PayPal billing. Those that have pre-ordered shoes will still get them. I will still carry the 1000 mile boot in store. No worries there. Just hoops to go through. I personally touched the boots yesterday and they feel great. I have pictures, but now worried about posting them. I'll talk to my webmaster and rep about this.
Sorry about any confusion.

As nice as these boots appear to be (and as helpful as Crane's has been), I'm getting a little burned out on how much work these boots seem like they're going to be (determine size in Wolverines, pre-order, put down deposit on something none of us have handled).

Ummm...thats kind of how pre-orders for ANY all new product works. TV, Lawnmower, whatever.

You want convenience? WAIT.

I think they are some of the nicest, highest quality vintage boots out there for a relatively low price. I hope I can sample these soon. It's worth the wait though.

Im very interested in those black lace ups and the brownish rust colored captoe boots. Cranes will you carry these models at some point as well? Or is that not clear yet?

Ewww...men.style has the 1000 mile listed at $325 via Scoop. I hope the price stops creeping up.

Hopefully that is Scoop's jacked up price.

That's what we are supposed to sell them for. That's why we got in trouble with Wolverine. We will have them for $299.00 plus free shipping (if you pre-order you get a $25.00 gift card for a later purchase). If you notice the Wolverine 1000 Mile boot is not on our site until we actually receive them. Give us a call and we can talk you through the order process until the release date.

Aaaah. You guys and someone else elsewhere mentioned $299 so I thought that was MSRP.

I am actually holding out for 2 of the 3 boots from the Garrison line or I would have already ordered with you guys. If you get the other lines, I will be there with bells on.
