In case none you have seen or heard: The makers of Wolverine Boots are dropping a heritage line in Fall 09.

The boots, and the ad prints, look and feel very nostalgic.

I'll definitely need a pair of the 1000 Miles.

I think these just displaced Timberland Boot Company as my favorite American heritage brand I haven't seen in person yet. I like the derby captoe here...

...and the brown captoe boot from the Gentleman collection, here...

Fall 09 can't come quick enough --- I'm curious what is going to be their price point ? I'm thinking it's going to be around RW Heritage pricing; I'm hoping for a little less.

I like the monkey boots a lot. I'm pretty surprised to see this, but I definitely welcome it.

I take it these all have leather soles?

These heritage collections are all much more to my liking aesthetically but the theme is getting diluted. I don't know whether to complain that my vintage stuff is so common now or be happy that it is so much more accessible.

I'l take that bet. But, at least for me, I think RW Heritage landed heavy on waywt as well. And I'll gladly still buy and wear some 875s or RW Heritage's now.......on sale of course..

Those burgundy/brown gentlemen boots are just too fresh.
