Is that a size 4?  I'm looking for that in a size 4.

They fit really small.  I am a 2X or even 3X in BoO.  I have to get the 3X altered.  It's because of my shoulders.  If I'm not mistaken that is from the 2012 spring collection and is it a size 3 or a 4?

1st:  Many of the dark over-dyed oxfords (ex. midnight blue) seem to run small.  I assume there may be some shrinkage issues during the dying process (not sure though)
2nd:  Some of the pieces that are made in Italy seem to be sized differently than pieces made in the USA and Japan.  Specifically chinos and polos.

I have a similar experience. I wear Size 1 in all their MIA and MIJ pieces, but MII fits huge on me. Not sure why.

Anyone here have any experience with the SS12 jeans that BOO has released? I've seen them pictured on various sites and see them appear to look anywhere from skinny to relaxed and I believe that there is only one type of jean. I am just wondering about the sizing, quality, and fit. If anyone here has them could you post pictures of the fit.

Thanks!

Yes I do have experience with these jeans.  I tried on a pair in NYC a few weeks ago.  Here is the run down (according to me, for me, by me)

1.)  Actually, to be more specific, there is a pair of BoO jeans that have something like 40 - 60% linen in them.  These are the pair I tried on, and should not be confused with the BoO RAW denim jeans that are also available.

The partial linen jeans are already washed and likely will not shrink.  Look at the discription of the item on various websites to determine if your are looking at the RAW denim or the denim that conatins something like 40-60% linen (can't remember the percentage off hand)

For reference:  I am 5'7" 130lbs (I am consistently a size 1 BoO)

The 28 waist in the partial linen jeans fit me the best.  I initially tried on the 30 and they were huge!  I later discovered the waist sizes marked on jeans are at least 2 sizes big.  Which although is not intuitive, it makes sense since I typically am a 30 waist and the 28 fit well.

(Note:  I wear a 29w JCrew, 30w Opening Ceremony Jeans, size 1 BoO trousers)

2.)  As far as with the RAW denim that is available, which is what I believe is shown in these pictures, I have no clue.  But with that said, RAW denim is a completely different topic and I recommend trying on RAW denim before purchasing due to the tremendous variability (i.e. fit, stretch, shrink...)

By the way, the partial linen jeans felt so incredibly soft, I was impressed.  If you can find the appropriate size, I recommend picking them up.

Hope that helps

Grey check seersucker? I got a large for more than half off at the Queen St Bay in Toronto. I would give them a call, they've got other BoO on sale as well. Unfortunately they have a terrible website and don't think they list the brand anywhere since it appears to be carried at only select stores.

this week loehmanns is blowing out all of their BoO stuff as well. selection isn't insane, but it's worth a look. button ups for around $70, jackets are about $150-200. Among tons more, pants, jeans, bermudas, etc. You can also stack coupons and most of the BoO stuff is on purple tag clearance, so you can get up to 50% off the clearance price.

btw, I tried the jeans on a while back and hated them. they were like mom jeans. tight at the crotch and loose all over. very flimsy unflattering material.

used to be a huge fan of BoO but lately the quality has varied too much for me to be able to buy on site. I normally bought L (I'm normally a medium, but larges fit perfect. snug, no slack, but with room to breathe.), but now i've ended up with XL shirts that felt like a normal L. Inconsistent sizes and fabric quality... I still want one of those suede baseball jackets though. and their bermudas are my favorite pair of shorts ever.

I've noticed this too, especially with their Polo shirts. Size 4 fits me, 3 fits a bit more slim (wearing a size 3 BD right now), but their Polo's seem to be all acorss the baord fit wise.

I got 4 shirts this season, 3 fit differently.

1x sz1 white oxford - fit as it fit in the past seasons.

1x sz2 orange oxford - sz 1 fit like a sz 0, so I had to sz up. sz2 is like a 1.5 normally.

1x sz1 short sleeve - normal

1x sz1 blue oxford - Made in Italy. Sz1 fit bigger than the sz2 I bought. Shoulder was wider, body was wider, length is 2in longer than the sz 2 in orange. Fabric also felt lighter than their other oxfords. In fact, the fit is so off that I had to return it.

Hey, they don't have this per se, but something kind of similar on sale at Barney's.

there's one on ebay right now. not a stellar deal, but it's still less than retail and it might be sold out everywhere.

does anyone know how the chinos from last season in size 0 fit? i've been eyeing some on yoox but some of the measurements i've seen give them like a 32" waist, which seems pretty huge for a 0.

Do the short sleeve shirts fit differently from the normal ones? I heard somewhere that they run a size tighter than the long sleeve shirts do.
