I love Valentine's Day. I love doing really cool stuff and making it a memory. However, it's always a little weird, because my birthday is the very next day. I always make Vday about her, since the next day will be all about me.
Not to mention, the better I treat her on Vday, the better she'll "treat" me on my birthday.

She talked about it for weeks.

my girlfriend would complain the whole time if i did this! but thats because she hates the idea of any sort of camping

recap '09: sent flowers from known florist to work on Friday. very important to send the tallest flowers to the law firm. saturday, made popovers for breakfast, along with great Earl Gray tea. morning sex gave way to morning nap. we started watching reruns of the old Piven Rom-Com "Cupid" which is shot in Chicago. Girl is from Chicago. Lunch was shipped in deep dish pizza and cheesecake from her favorite Chicago places. my gifts were given: some dvds she'd wanted (cooking) and Agent Provacateur lingerie. afternoon sex gave way to going to her place and hanging out while she made us a four course meal that blew my mind. need to school her on choices of champagne but that will come with time. an incredible day.
