Hopefully no one minds if I post this here, I figure with enough photo enthusiasts this might get some interest.
Vintage Tripod made for RCA by Houston Fearless. These were used on the early TV cameras, thing it probably 50 years old. No stampings or plastic, all solid castings.
I don't have any of the top parts, its just an open base so you'll have to figure out something yourself. I can't really find anything on the web but I think they still might make some heads for it?
Really sturdy and very heavy. You could probably mount a high power rifle on top without any issues.
Scale on top is 12" long.
Paint is starting to chip off, but I think it maybe original?
