We have sold a bunch of these, and everyone who got them loves em.
Whodini is absolutely right- you can't find another raw chambray jean built like these anywhere else at any price.
These are going to be extremely popular coming in to the summer.

They do all this and yet for some reason people have no trouble dropping $155 on a pair of jeans with none of those features from Tunisia and call it a "bargain."

Sure, the chambray jeans aren't cheap but look at what you're getting. NO ONE has that fabric and even if someone else did they wouldn't throw in all those bells and whistles that we love.

werd.

If these jeans were Flathead being sold at Self Edge, guys would be all over it. It's expensive for sure, but jean shop denim is top gear and if you can afford it I dont think you'll ever think you got ripped off. Not feeling it's worth it because you wont wear it daily is a different argument, but JS denim is priced very much in line with what you get, and tbh the only thing this brand suffers from is not having any Oriental mystique or some **** attached to it

Don't you know? It's the orange stitching that makes it suck. Apparently, differently-colored thread has the ability to make perfectly good jeans worse than a pair of Abercrombies. And you know what's the scariest part? These people KNOW this JUST BY LOOKING AT THE BRAND FROM THEIR MONITORS. It's uncanny.

^ freedict gives me "ji-nzushouten" for Jeans + Shop, maybe whoever runs the brand should consider a name change?

I really like these jeas, the concept of chambray pants appealed to me a while back. I didnt think it would work for jeans though. I am interested to see this (if they are still in stock at context) next month.

I certainly wouldn't do it with 300 JS jeans, but back when I worked landscaping I wanted something lighter weight to work in... chambray would have been perfect.

I hope that those who purchase these will keep us updated with posts in the denim thread. I get headaches trying to navigate superdenim.

Well the original post was about summer jeans. These are summer jeans. So yes apples to apples.

Yes and the title is "Selvedge Chambray Jeans." The Rag and Bones are neither selvage nor chambray.

Ha but they are jeans and for summer time!

Maybe you guys could lighten up a bit.

The chambray jeans are mostly oos and I was suggesting an alternative I was looking at myself.

I am not stocking the jean but will do special orders for who ever wants them.
I am sure Ryan and Sam ( context) has them and would happily a sell you a pair .
They need to save the cash just in case Sam needs to bail Ryan out of jail.....lol
