At a good university, in a good degree (law or medicine. Do not accept the poor man's choices, like engineering students). If worst comes to worst, find a woman who is not intelligent or cultured, and share your experience with her. Teaching can be rewarding.

ballet dancers have, in my experience, always been rather well read, feminine, intelligent and increeeeeeedibly flexible

my experiences with ballet dancers is that they're naive and at most times dumber than dogshit but maybe that's just korean ballet dancers. and all princesses in their own little world.

OP: Just get off your high horse and get comfortable with the people around you. Culture is EVERYWHERE around you, high-brow and low brow. Bathe in it, revel in it; you might even learn something. When you're feeling high-brow, drop a 'culture bombs' or two. Some girl might smile in recognition, and follow you with your eyes - suddenly seeing you in a whole new light. THAT's the stuff that's gonna get you laid.

But you've gotta make it accessible; you're never going to get anything, anywhere if you've got so much bluster up front you turn them away before you turn them on.

FWIW, I decided I loved my (soon to be wife) not on our first date to the Art Gallery, but when she quoted the Simpsons to me a week later, over chicken wings and beer.

You HAD to explain the word dapper? do you honestly think that that is interesting conversation? has it occured to you that someone may be intellectual yet not share the EXACT SAME INTERESTS AS YOU? whatever, it seems like you are the type who is only happy when seperating himself from others emotionally. I know this doesnt directly answer your question, but lighten up - you will be happier.
