So you ordered shoes at or below their cost. They didn't have any more, and declined to ship them to you at a loss if/when they get them back in, and you were "screwed." Ha.
It's a stretch to say the OP was screwed, but I can see the disappointment in having customer service fail, yet again. If customer service said straight off the bat we can't do this or that, that's fine. But if you're given some assurance of receiving something (whether to the loss of the other party or whatever), it certainly sucks to hear otherwise, and this does not reflect positively on BB.
