there's always going to be the vocal few who are so embittered by anything they feel ignorant about, anything new, fresh, that they cant partake in or know how. it sort of threatens them.

i take it as a compliment.

Comments on all news sites are completely inane.

The comments all read as "back in my day...." kinda stuff. Or just dismissing fashion or anything they've never tried to understand with cliches. Cool for fok though. The slydog, he never lets us in on this stuff.

The forum has already been mentioned in the WSJ, NYT, and the NY Post, and then fashion specific sites and publications like the DNR (RIP) and mens.style.com. Every mention does increase interest in the forum a little bit, but the traffic and number of users is high enough these days that newcomers who decide to stay are typically integrated seamlessly into the Styleforum community.

Of course, the forum will continue to evolve. Those who were here back in 2002 will remember a much different Styleforum than the present.

The print edition has the Satorialist photo used in the "Workwear Done Right" thread in SW&D.

Seriously, it looks like the editor right-click > saved the photo from the website and used that.
