Reconfigurable façade... 15,000 square feet... confused.gif

The Japanese house looks good, but I think that they should have put folding/sliding doors at the entrance to the verandah/deck, rather than a large glass window with a small door, as it won't allow for much breeze in summer.

Yikes. Awful detailing on a house with really good spaces. I'd excuse it on grounds of the difficulty of trying to build something in Iran, but most of the problems are within their control. A clusterfuck of contrasting materials; that stupid tree jammed in the gaps of the pavings; clumsy "look at me" geometry; that shitty "3" graphic on the door, etc...

I really don't understand the elliptical trainer next to the sitting/bar (?) area.

The Barcelona sofa pretty much sums it up for me.

I think if there's an issue with the Tehran house it's the duplicative loft space. How many interior balconies do you need? Do people wave at each other across the atrium?

ALL THE BALCONIES!

That is a whole lot of tacky for one house.

The gallery of family photos is really special, along with the 'fun' color doors and knock-off furniture in a place that must have cost millions.

I'm starting to wonder if they hang people from that atrium.

All those tiny little stones are going to fall in that pool. Nice house otherwise.

Thought I had posted that a while ago, but apparently not, amazing house.
