Friend of mine has a black pool at his place in The Catskills - black liner, black ladder, black diving board. Turns the surface of the pool into a mirror.

I don't really like anything about it. The wood is obviously very beautiful in itself, but none of the design elements do anything for me. Bad proportions, bad detailing, bad design.
