Lol. They do have problems with keeping the windows spotless. I can tell you that much from having lived in a home of that style for about 5 years. The glass wall effect looks stunning in theory, but it's a bitch and a half to keep clean. Furthermore, on hot and sunny days, some of the rooms can really bake. It's a greenhouse-style effect.

I was reading an interview with Glenn O'Brien yesterday about his house in Connecticut that he bought and restored. He said the previous owners had to board up to the top level because so many birds were crashing into the house. But he's since returned it to the original glass.

cool Soho space, but most everything they've added there is lame. Between the motorcycle, giant pool table, vintage skis above the oven hood, 10,000 picture frames, "weathered" outdoor clock, sports trophys, and the butter churner under the ktichen island, I can't help but wonder where is the home brewing kit?

Looks like bad style choices but the staging effectively shows the scale of the space...I would make an appointment to see it in a heartbeat. Faster if that building didn't have other tenants.

Picked this book up yesterday. It's an incredible production. I'll try to find some of the photos online.
