And regional Asian makers?

So you want them to write about tailors who while technically competent are usually stylistically... lacking?

Come on - you (and I) know that more often than not you essentially have to handhold your Affordable Bespoke Asian Tailor nearly every step of the way at least once.

Hong Kong tailor Eddie Chow and his work has been featured in a few articles.

I think the problem is that the 'Academy' articles mostly cover things your average Senior Member already (or should) know, and thus the rest of the magazine just becomes one massive running technicolour ad.

That said, I rate the photography pretty highly, and often get to see what colour combinations that I have always wondered about look like 'IRL'.

+1000! You don't read any Revolution Press magazine for its objectivity. Besides, the Rake exist to sell advertisement and to fund the founder's sartorial habits. Not a bad business model, if you ask me.

...and aside from colours/combinations, you also get to see varying gorge 'heights', varying lapel widths, all the different button stances, different shoulder types, just about every single possible pocket configuration, different finishing options, tons of different cuts running the gamut from soft to structured... So in that sense, it's a little like Men's Ex. True, these images all are available via Google image for free, but go ahead - try finding something as well shot or with as much detail (trying zooming in to a 400x400 image, it gets nsaty).

Still waiting on issue 8. Has anyone in the US received theirs yet?

Just checking...I had a few issues lost in the mail and never received them.

No, not yet - no package from Singapore.

Maybe Mr. Koh's too busy hobnobbing.

Got mine Tuesday and just flipped through it. Departures came in yesterday and this issue is devoted to fashion, so spent what little free evening time digesting that!

I live in Kentucky and I received my #8 last week. I started getting it delivered by USPS. Then the last few issues came Fed-Ex.

They are very random with their shipping preferences at Revolution Press!
