It's not as crazy as it sounds if you're trying to shed some weight and have no time for cardio etc. - weekly deficit of 7000 calories or so → 2lbs/week weight loss which by most account is safe ...smile.gif

I know that higher deficits work, but 800 is silly low. Basically if you're running a big deficit the bulk (or all) of your calories should really come from protein sources like chicken, fish and lean meats. Eating low protein/high deficit will wreak havoc on your body comp.

Point taken, thanks. I tried a much cleaner diet before, but couldn't become satiated for some reason no matter how many slices of turkey breasts I eat and end up thinking about food all day. The current diet solved that problem but probably is a bit dangerous - I'll try to "force" myself to eat more protein then! tongue.gif
