You'd have to think older women who have a distinct and sophisticated style can appreciate a man who's a bit more than put together.....just as long as your not fighting with them for make up or mirror time. That's why I'd love to be in the company of an older women b/c they're more wiser, they'll understand more. Younger women won't get it as much.

Despite the fact that I spend more money on clothing and probably more minutes of the day thinking about what people are wearing, I would still say I care less about my appearance on a daily basis than any of the girls I've dated. Ultimately, my goal with clothing is to be able to reach into my closet (or hamper, heheheh) and pull out a couple random things and have it all look good.

The point of my wardrobe is to have a bunch of invididual parts that all go together well enough that I can get ready in the morning in <5 minutes and without putting much thought into it.

Seems like a girl's wardrobe is more a collection of outfits, not individual garments.

My girl doesn't know I wear expensive clothes because she thinks I'm straight, and I'd like to keep it that way.

my thoughts exactly brian you should have a bunch of individual pieces that you can easily wear together with whatever you have.

Huge Hollister branding or gigantic eagles/skulls/dragons are what females where I live consider fashionable.

it seems to have an effect on the female ego

It's a sign of submissiveness. That means you make them nervous, my friend. Maybe it's your style, your swag, your energy, your looks (no ****), etc that makes them think you're too great for them.

I'm the exact same way, I never think in forms of set outfits. Most everything meshes together in the end.

This is EXACTLY what I tell my girlfriend. Now I know that I am not alone.

This is the best quote in a thread full of solid comments. To the masses, 'fashionable' is what we would call 'fashion victim.'

Also, I intentionally avoid well known expensive brands. I wouldn't want a love interest, a family member or coworker to notice. Extra true for logos, but that's an aesthetic thing too.

Yes, they love to bend over, or submit to the guys that they're attracted to.

"Regular people" still notice that the "styleforum" types are dressed nicely. If high school girls can see it then anyone should be able to do the same. What do you think?
