I've been wearing a Seiko 5 Auto for a minute now, and I would say its great for an inexpensive watch with a reliable movement (7S26). It may not be the best by any means, but if you're consistently wearing the watch, then you don't really need to worry about the reserve much at all. I also really like the simplicity of the Arabic numerals on a black dial, which transcends rather nicely into a variety of fits. Where would you get this band or something similar? What size is it?
Looking to buy a Seiko 5 automatic. My criteria are:
- 40mm+ case diameter
- metal band and metal case
- gold tone
- automatic
- ~$150
I have browsed through eBay and Amazon to get some ideas, but as a Seiko n00b, I would appreciate any insight and/or input anyone can provide.

I have one of the military seikos. The date started to jump every time it crosses 12. It is too cheap to repair and fit me small anyways. It was 35mm. Gave it to my bro.
