It seems like Dasani is getting much love here. For me, I actually like almost all bottled water except for Dasani.

That being said, I usually drink sparkling water at home but I have no problem with NYC tap water.

I only know this because i just read a case study about this at school. (Case study is called "Cola Wars")

this is interesting thanks.

At least Dasani doesn't pretend to be "spring water." Dasani is just filtered tap water.

I love that dasani and aquafina are tap water but people still prefer the taste

FYI, fiji water is cheap in fiji. It's not a status symbol. I am amazed that people drink bottled water.

Hmm... I filter a couple pitcher's worth of water and it seemed to remedy the situation. I don't think it's harmful. It's just charcoal, so if you have any impurities in your bladder, expect that to be fixed.

Premium Water?

Sorry I don't care how my water tastes as long as it doesn't taste like feces or death.

You need to find something else to do if you can start distinguishing tastes, and become a water "elitist".

A gallon of gasoline is nothing compared to a gallon of bottled water

Brita at home, tap that goes through some sort of fancy UV filter at work, bottled usually only in meetings or if I'm really thirsty and have to buy some while out.

That said, I do like some fizzy water (S. Pellegrino usually) when out to dinner sometimes.

The only bottle water that I would buy is Evian. Everything else doesn't taste that much better than tap water to purchase.

We have a natural spring on our farm and that is the best water I have ever had.
