No, the company was bought out by Horny Toad, which allowed them to reopen. I doubt they made much profit selling everything at 75+% off.

Anyone have any input on them? I'm looking to purchase the acoustic jacket: http://www.nau.com/mens/categories/j...t-108M533.html Any input (in regard to fit/quality)/pics would be greatly appreciated.

I have a nau parka. It keeps me warm, fits reasonable slim for something down, and has cool pockets.

I've always thought they've had nice outerwear

There should be a thread on Nau. I have the down shirt, asylum jacket, merino ls Zip-T, and gauntlet gloves and love all of it. Everything is cut fairly slim and made very well of great materials. I think they are having a 30% sale on some stuff at the moment. The prices are a bit steep, but the quality is fantastic and there is a lifetime warranty (as long as the company doesn't go under again!). They usually have a 50% end of season sale, but some sizes are usually scarce by then. Highly recommended.

Paging zissou... EDIT: he beat me to the punch. All I have of theirs is a pair of jeans from FW07. I'm about to buy a twisted scarf and maybe one of their merino crewnecks.

That looks much better than the initial pic of that jacket on their site.

It has really cool features too like an MP3 pocket with a loop to hold your phones, an inside glove pocket, elasticized cuffs to lock in your wrists, an expandable internal glove/hat pocket, etc. It's not even expensive for a parka.

even better:

Through February 1, we'd like to offer you 40% off all Nau Products. The especially sweet part is that when you add this 40% offer to the sale section of our site you can purchase select items (including the men's Hedon Jacket and Variegated V-Neck sweater and the women's Awry Polo and V-Lightful cashmere angora sweater) for 60% off. If that doesn't appeal to your sweet tooth, we're also offering free ground shipping on orders over $150.00.

To take advantage of this special offer simply enter OTGSPECIAL in the promo code box in the Order Summary section at checkout.

After February 1, we'll initiate our end of season public sale (50% off select sale section items). However, we want to give our Off The Grid Community the first crack at the available product coupled with the best possible price.

Act quickly. This special Off The Grid Sale ends February 1.

I'm buying that sweater as we speak. Thanks!

no problem! I really shouldn't have looked at their site. Many great deals in the sale section.

fuck, the dualist jacket is tempting. I don't really need another jacket though, as it'll be warm in a month here
