Nau (Eco Friendly Activewear and Outdoor Clothing) - Page 8

Does anyone own a vest? the 850 fill count and 145 price seems like a good deal.

Teger sold me a black Nau Acoustic Jacket and it's worthy of praise. Teriffic slim fit in a techincal fabric that is for the most part breatheable in warm weather - low 70's - and warmer in cooler temps. Multiple pockets, conveniently placed. I actually like the longer sleeves, and the cuffs are asymmetric circles - a nice touch, a little bit of style in an otherwise pragmatic, Patagonia-looking piece. I like the longer sleeves because I can pull them up and it looks nice. Also, the collar has an asymmetry to it and looks good up or down.

I've recently bought a number of Nau shirts and pants but am most excited about the impending arrival of this coat. Discontinued from last year.

It's a rich, sea blue. Excellent color. Not too royal, but not as dark as navy.

The down pieces are some of the best value in the line. Very light, very warm, w/ way more style than any other technical brand.

The Merchant Coat. Along with my Down Shirt, it's my favorite Nau item. Fabrication and fabric on this piece are tremendous.

My Merchant Coat just came in and what a beauty! CAn't believe they stopped making it. Great wool, stretchy lining, cool brass hardware. Almost makes me want winter to arrive.

I'm wearing a size medium in the fit pics. For reference, I take a Large in Epaulet shirts. This size still allows me some room to layer a medium-weight sweater underneath. The color is most accurate in the second pic. It's a subtle greyish dark blue.

We've been selling a ton of this jacket. IMO it's one of the most perfect winter coats on the market. It's warm, stylish, lightweight, technical, washable, compressible, and includes a lifetime warranty. For a solid urban coat, it can't be beat.

We'll be fully restocked tomorrow, and the item is available with free US shipping on our website.

That looks good. It's a tough choice between that and the SOP trench.

Nau's got a pop-up shop in SoHo for the next six weeks. Info on it at their site

Fast Company's piece on it.

I had a chance to swing by the Nau pop-up shop in Soho over the weekend. I, like most others I assume, have not seen much of their stuff in person. I was very impressed with their stuff - construction and materials looked solid, and their color palette is great. It's open through the end of December at 69 Mercer St.

I didn't know it was a pop-up shop. I happened across it on Saturday - I love their stuff. I think this is a brand poised for big things.

Do you remember if they have small and xsmall jackets? Another sporting store, Paragon, on 14th st, also carries Nau, but mostly in large and xlarge. Material looked very well constructed.
