Hanger My First Visit to Woodbury Commons!

So today after a quick doctor's appointment in New York city, my wife and I decided to go to Woodbury commons. It took about 1 hour from the city, and it would have been less if we didnt get lost.

When we arrived at about 11am, I was going crazy like a kid in a 90% off Versace store . I cant even remember what our first stop was but I think it was Etro. It was nice to see so many nice coats, sadly NONE of them were my size. I was told that the larger and smaller sizes go first, and the middle ones are left. And I saw this at almost every store I went to. I went to the Armani store and saw some GORGEOUS sports coats, but none were my size!

The stores I visited were: Etro, Versace, St John, Chanel, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Zegna, Salvatore Fergammo, Tumi, Coach etc. After walking around until about 6pm, my wife was tired and was ready to throw in the towel. The last place we visted was a Burberry Sample Sale.....WHICH WAS AMAZING! I picked up a check cream color sports coat IN MY SIZE!!! for $150! They had a TON of trench coats for Men and Women for between $249 and $300. Amazing deals, but it was a mess and mayham in the store. I was told they had large tote handbags earlier for $150 each, but they all sold out. The sales person told me they will get more items next week. The only thing that wasnt cool was many items were damaged. I saw a gorgeous leather jacket that fit me, but it had a giant scratch on the arm. Even though it was $500 (orig retail was around $3k), I didnt want to buy something damaged.

My final lot included: An etro shirt, a burberry check sports coat, a coach messenger bag, versace shoes and a belt, and a robert graham shirt. All in all it was a great time and I cant wait to go back (though I think my wife can wait )

A check sportscoat? That sounds interesting...

I don't know if I could handle all those deals.

The best thing my outlet has is a Barneys and it' shard to get excited about a John Varvatos tee shirt on clearance (and final sale) for $50.

Woodbury Commons is my favorite place to shop. Shame I haven't been there in a few years.

LOL Damn Straight! But seriously, during major holidays it seems like every store has stuff marked down. The worst sale was at Loro Piana. Spend $2000 and get $200 off or something. Not really much of a sale if you think about it. I noticed as I went to more and more shops, that the outlet prices are VERY similar to prices on ebay, but you can try things on at an outlet of course. It was a lot of fun yesterday, and it was not TOO crowded, but from what vendors were telling me, this weekend and especially Monday will be insane! And about the Burberry sale. I just bought an authentic Burberry unlined trench on ebay for about $100 from ISW (Italian Suit Warehouse). It was an amazing deal, but now I wish I waited and bought one that is lined. At the sale, there were a lot of people shopping...but it didnt seem like that many people found something to buy. But as I said above...a LOT of trench coats.
