very hard to tell from those pics, but the sleeves are too long, and the shoulders look a little big.

Not very well - lose that shirt/tie combo too.

Definitely too big in the shoulders but I think that the length may be OK, though a better pic (brighter, full length) would be helpful.

Hmm - this is the look I saw on the young car salesman yesterday while taking mon auto in for service yesterday. I just couldn't help but think this guy was swimming in his oversize suit. Just reminds me of that so... .

You do swim in the pictured suit, although the sleeve length is close enough (which is not to say it is close) that I would be interested to see whether the 38R winds up being too short.

I have been blessed/cursed to wear a 39L, which means I have maintained a nice, girlish figure (one jests), but can never find anything close to my size on the rack. (On the other had, I have the perfect excuse when my wife questions the necessity of ordering more costly MTM suits.)

Based upon the picture, I wonder how you might fare in a 39L, if you can lay hands on one. You might also look for a 50L in European sizing.

Another thing....leave the bottom button unbuttoned. I recommend that you Look for a two button or a 2.5 button (3 button with the lapel rolled so that the middle button is the top functional button) . I own both, but tend to prefer the latter.

Best of luck.
