Totally old school Filson Leather Field Satchel. Brand new, it's only been out of the box a couple times -- basically pristine condition, just a scuff or two picked up in normal shipping. Just like ordering direct from Filson.

The case is made of bridle leather, similar to a Swaine Adeney or Daines & Hathaway (superior to the normal belting leather that you get with other finer cases made in the US, like Schlesinger or Atlas). The color is a dark brown.



This is the type of case you'll pass down to your son or grandson. It looks great brand new and as you break it in it will look even better.

Okay, bumping this one to the top. If you're looking for a case, bag, briefcase, messenger, etc., give this one serious consideration. It will literally last a few lifetimes, looking great the whole time.
