Got pulled over again. I have gone like 13 years with one ticket 8 years ago, and I have been pulled over 3 times this year. Cop said I was going 40 in a 25. this is a little two lane residential road and I was in my jeep. I was maybe going 30, but I am super cognizant of speed limits and my friends all make fun of me for driving so slow. 40 on that road in the dark in my jeep would have felt like 60, and there is no way at all I was going that fast.

Illegal turns, blown stop signs, bad merges, etc... I am guilty as charged, but not speeding.

the cop said, I clocked you and the guy behind you going 40, but I couldnt pull both of you over.

jeez thanks. He said that due to my clean record (other traffic stops got tossed), he would lower it to impeading traffic if I showed up in court. That means they just want your money. WTF. Stupid michigan.

So my friend had to do a project regarding Germany for his German class, and he borrowed a bottle of unopened Absinth that I ordered from Germany like 3 years ago. A new bottle, with shipping is around $150, taking into consideration the Euro / Dollar exchange rate. So he came by yesterday to pick it up, used my printer to print a page about about the project (I glanced that it indeed had something to do with Absinth) and said he would drop it off once he was done with class... well, he never did.

When I talked to him last night he was at the half way point between my house and his and said that he would just give me the bottle today. Well, it's 2 pm and he isn't picking up his phone. He probably drank part of the bottle last night and I'm going to have to cut of his balls, no?

Why are you being such a jackass for a bottle of booze? You buy a bottle and haven't touched it in freakin' three years (are you saving it for your first time?) and you whine like a little girl because the guy hasn't returned it in less that 24hrs? WTF!

No wonder your "friend" is just taking advantage of you to score bottle of absinthe. Who the fuck needs a bottle of something for a school project? Is this show and tell in the third grade?

I got the bottle back. I bought several bottles a while back... and they were all consumed at a steady pace; this was my last unopened bottle. I mention in passing that unless you are drinking like Conne, it's not unusual to have a bottle of alcohol unopened for 3 years. I as well mention that you do understand that the bottle costs $150, yes? And it has to be shipped from Europe since you can't get it in the states.

Anyways, I got the bottle back... so

P.S. you are one judgmental, angry, sad (and apparently alcoholic) man EL.
