The prices are not outlandish. Prices for Italian brands are much higher in the US than in the EU, and in Italy, especially, and this is exaggerated these days by the strong dollar/weak Euro. Also, all of these goods are from previous seasons, and designer goods depreciate very quickly in value. So, reselling previous season (Italian) designer goods to the rest of the world can be highly profitable.
