Alden Indy 405s arrive! ...
Remember the old computer science problem called the traveling salesman problem? I was thinking about it when wondering if there was a more direct route from Massachusetts to Western, NY, one that didn't go through Honolulu. ;-)
I've had my eye on a pair of the classic "Indy" 405 boots from Alden for a while. Note, the pics make them look slightly more orange than they are. They are more reddish-brown than they seem in the pics. Thanks to my wife and the okay on an early Christmas gift, we ordered a pair of the limited edition Alden Reproduction "Indy" 405 boots in cognac calfskin! After a long trip from Massachusetts to NY, via Honolulu (& Tom Park of Leather Soul Hawaii), I have them today. ;-)         |
