Default How would you like a girl to dress?

What do you like to see on a girl, clothing/style-wise? I think, women's clothing is such a completely different game than men's that it's really hard, as a man, to think about this. We tend to approach our clothing a bit more practically and calculatingly than a lot of girls do. Of course, there are just girls who are good looking and honestly can look good in anything and we won't care, but I kind of want this topic to be about the clothes and not just "She's cute, so she looks good in anything.", I mean, I really want an emphasis on the clothes (err, well overall style I guess). So I suppose in a roundabout way, this is a thread about women's clothing, not just attractive women in clothing...

First off, realistically, pretty much any girl in this thread is an instant yes (have fun browsing). Though, honestly, I think a lot of these girls fall into the "She's so cute she can look good in anything" with a combination of good photography, photoshop, and camera angles. That's not to say that they're not incredibly attractive, but the emphasis is less on the clothes. But like I said, I don't know much about women's clothing, so a certain way they wear it helps to.

Idealistically, Emma Watson in Burberry.

Honestly. I think whoever works on Burberry's advertising campaigns is doing an excellent job and really captures the spirit of what Burberry is trying to sell (forget for a moment, all the tacky brand-whoring plaid design you see everywhere).

Though, the problem I find with this is... I honestly don't know the difference between a girl in a <$100 H&M/Forever21 outfit and a girl in a >$1000 (insert whatever preferred high-end brand you want) outfit. Girl's fashion is infinitely more expansive than guys so money isn't really an excuse for a girl to not be able to find something well fitting, and good looking. Well fitting, good looking women's clothing is available in a wide price range, so much better than men's. I doubt quality is a big factor because many high end women's clothing, IMO, is lacking in that regards, at least in the way that we on SF approach "quality" in expensive clothing.

Also, I like this M.A+ model.

I'm incredibly intrigued by a girl who can pull of female goth ninja and still look incredibly sexy without looking smutty.

Personally, for me, in a(n?) SO, I'd like a girl who just has a definitive sense of style instead of trying to mold herself into various popular brand's images. In a way, I kind of want her to have her distinct "look", instead of just cycling through whatever is fashionable and trendy as most girls do. I like girls who wear dresses in the summer, and layers in the fall. I guess what I'm trying to get at is a girl who truly has a sense of style, whatever that means (even I'm not sure).

Do NOT deal with seller/buyer antirabbit. Last year he sold me a pair of shoes that turned out to be women's shoes. He claimed he was unaware of this but then asked what he could do to corect this. When I asked for a refund he immediately refused to respond to any of my PMs and cut off contact completely (for many, many, many months). Finally when confronted with this, he essentially responded with I don't care I sold you a pair of womens boots, fuck off, you're not getting your money back.

BEWARE OF SELLER/BUYER ANTIRABBIT, he is dishonest and when faced complications will screw you over.

I could spend all fucking day replying to this. I will slowly add to this thread. As noted in the previous thread, Emma is very agreeable especially in beautiful Burberry trenchcoats. My contribution for now:

Hmm, well, I'm pretty sure that 98% of the reason why I like this outfit is because of the sheerness... but from knowing your WAYWTs I can see how you like this. Actually, if you added a bra in for practicality, I think that the fit still retains it's awesomness in the form of a girl being able to pull of such relatively baggy cinch pants mixed with an awesome shawl/cardigan while still retaining a sense of femininity and sexuality. Going on this point, it seems like a lot of designer/high-end/luxury clothing for women that get a bit "out there" seem to focus too much on the concept of the fit and the idea of it and kind of lose that "sexiness/feminine aspect" that I like in girls so much.

Anyways, pic related. (These are NSFW) <--- I'll remember to keep anything like that linked and properly labeled, shoreman.

Rick.

Awesome lack of clothing aside, I think such sheer pieces would make for incredibly interesting layering if they wore something underneath it (come on, would you really want your SO out in public like that?).

You don't let your SO out in anything other than an evening dress? I assume you accompany her only in complete black tie, white tie if the occasion calls for formality.

I like how my girlfriend dresses a lot. She doesn't buy into the corny white girl hype (uggs, 7 jeans, abercrombie whatever)... She takes pieces from all different stores and molds it together into her own thing... always looks stylish and presentable... I don't know how much to expand on this topic because I know nothing about girls clothing/fashion... All I know is corny, typical, slutty things are no good. Neither is being dressed straight out of the urban outfitters lookbook.

Yes. As my wife might retort: "There are dinner jackets and dinner jackets; this is the latter. And I need you looking like a man who belongs at that table."

Hopefully my wife will say something like, then she can't complain about the cost when I fly off to <insert European country of your choice> for a bespoke DJ.

Those quotes aren't from J. Crew, so they must be from James Bond. Casino Royale, IIRC.

I don't think I want women to dress a certain way in particular, but I would ideally want them to pay more attention to their style and composition as opposed to simply whats 'hot' or 'cute' or seasonal (though I understand that it's the nature of the beast with womens fashion). Maybe also to be a bit less superficial and not care so much about what the label says, I remember a girl at work telling me in all honesty that she wanted to buy the Prada phone just because it was Prada, the spell these luxury brands have over women is quite saddening.
