Do you consider yourself "stylish"

You spent God knows how many hours on a fashion forum. You know more about clothes then anybody in your neighborhood. You can spot quality leather like a hooker looking for columbian marching powder. But are you stylish? Do you look in the mirror and think "****, I'm fresh"? You might wear quality stuff, but do you end up looking like 90% of the population?

It's hard to define style.

Everyone's got their own thing going on, and I certainly have mine.

I like what I wear and whether or not people agree with me is beyond my control or care.

"Stylish" yes "Fashionable" no. I give a rats ass about fashion trends unless it happens to be somthing the suits my style.

I don't understand how this is possible for people who have been here a while and have money to spend.

nah, it's all about hyping yourself up but not to the point where you have an ego but just having enough confidence and swagger to wear whatever you choose to or whatever makes you comfortable. having taste helps in this. pretty much you look at icons like paul newman and steve mcqueen and you just think "these men didn't really muss over the details in what they wore, they just woke up cool and threw something together."

I've been told I'm "stylish" more than once. I like that. I've been told I'm "interested in fashion" and I like that less.

Stylish = figuring out what works best for your body and personality, wearing it with confidence and "swagger"

Fashionable = wearing whatever the cool kids are wearing this season, caring more about brands and labels than how the pieces actually fit you, and your personality

not in the broad sense. i like my clothes but people generally look at me like there's something wrong with me.

If you have over 300 posts you become unstylish, but once you have over 10000 posts you become stylish again.

Connotation = the suggesting of a meaning by a word apart from the thing it explicitly names or describes

If you have to stop and think about whether you're stylish, you're probably not.

Ehh...no. Maybe in a year or two. I think to be stylish your style has to be fairly unique and consistent. I am neither of those. I think some of my stuff looks good, but that's not the same thing. I don't think 80-90% of the posters in WAYWT are "stylish" either though. I dunno, it all depends on how you define "stylish", I guess.
