What the fuck is wrong with kids today? I was at a stoplight outside the mall in the left lane and there was a cute young girl in an suv in the right with her window down texting on her phone. An suv filled with 4 grungy looking skateboard kids pulls up in the center lane and tosses some milkshake looking thing through her window then speeds off. She tried to catch them but couldn't.

finally got to build my new mountain bike and its sweet... ibis tranny frame, mavic crossmax wheelsets, shimano xtr drivetrain, raceface carbon cranks.. had the bike shop rush it so I could pick it up friday night and ride it sunday morning...

Baby girl on a tear this morning. We were out late last night at a party at my folks' place; she went to bed in a crib there and then we brought her home around 1am, but didn't get to bed for another half hour or so. She woke up this morning at 6am - was my wife's day to get up with her but she tried bringing her to bed to coax her back to sleep. Instead she kicked me for an hour until I got fed up and brought her down myself... and let the wife go back to sleep. So I'm exhausted and this is one needy, delirious child this morning. She didn't sleep enough herself so she's really testing me, and I am lacking the necessary patience to want to deal.

Oh well, she's still being cute.

Also - wtf is with the lazy-ass news these days? Today show has a correspondent on scene where they pulled that blowout preventer up but the images they are showing are these grainy Youtube looking things. I'm noticing this is getting prevalent these days - news agencies using grainy internet shots in their reports. You're a massive news organization - is it too much to ask your reporters to carry a digital camera? Technology is your friend.

The douchebag who refused to let me work in on the lat pull down machine at the gym this morning.

Woke up this morning with a real acid taste in my mouth so I had a sip of my crystal light. Wake up 10 minutes later and run to the bathroom where I start vomiting. Not food but water. Just heaving up water. Go back to bed, drink some water, and back to the bathroom to toss that up. Seems to have calmed now thankfully. Wonder what the hell that was about.

And, to compound my misery for the day, while I was trying to get back to sleep the fire alarms all went off. Turns out there was some smoke coming from one of the elevator rooms in the building. 45 minutes of non-stop deafening file alarms. FUN!

Some weird dude ringing my apartment bell at 2 in the night. Turns out he also rang all the other bells in the building. He complained something about being left alone and we should let him in. After some discussion through the closed door we called the police but he left before they arrived. You can guess it wasn't really a relaxing night and first thing in the morning was to check all the windows and doors to see if everything is ok.
