Awesome advice.

If you go to buy a jacket and you have a negative drop, it's time to throw that ice cream cone in the trash and go to the gym.

cow's milk is just fine, especially if you drink a low-fat version.

wow -- you take the advice you offer free on a chat board pretty seriously, don't you?

One of the best things that I have read stated something along the lines of:

Dieting is not a phase you subject yourself to, its a lifestyle.

You shouldn't be dieting just to loose 10 pounds or whatever and then resume eating the way you did before. You'll put the weight back eventually and what would be the point then?

You should be deiting which is essentially eating well for life. Promote a healtier lifestyle, better looks, etc. will all be gained.

The annoying trend in many SF threads of late is to answer the poster not the question. This is annoying because others might be interested in the question, and the poster is secondary outside of those few who interest themselves.

They should start a thread themselves, Conne's threads end up in DT sooner or later.

This implies that you only read threads you start yourself for more than sheer amusement. Reductio ad absurdum.

Further, if the question itself is not a DT, then it is the DTness of the replies that relegates it to that backwater of intelligence.

You should eat plants and animals. Avoid inorganic materials such as sand, cars, and rubies.

Even though this is a Conne-threak I will provide useful information that helped me shave off a couple of kilos and finally get visible abs.

Read this

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=81315

And in a couple of months you'll drop a ton. Eating below your maintainence calorie level is the best thing you can do, and lift some weights dammit.

http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm

That will help give you a broad idea of your maintainence level.

The best thing you can do is join a bodybuilding forum and read up on fat loss, it helped me immensely, but don't get obsessive. And set yourself some realistic goals, dont say "4kgs in 1 week".

After I stopped drinking soda and eating fast food I lost 10 lbs rather quickly. You really don't have to do much else.

It's a stupid question and particular to the original poster. If you're interested in what Conne should be eating I'm both sorry that we weren't more obliging to your request and even more sorry that you actually give a shit about what Conne should be eating.

In your effort to sound like a smarty-pants, you look even more ridiculous performing your charade in a Conne thread.

at first you think you can do it, ignore the rules of your diet a bit, allow yourself too much.
then you think your diet is crap, made by an idiot and it doesn't work.
and then you think you are ok they way you are ..

your diet starts in your head, most times only sport can help your mind to adjust to teh change of your body ..
