I was planning to take my team for a weekend someplace to celebrate having a good fiscal year. one of the team members wants to go to toronto, he had done the best this year so I let him chose. we plan a weekend in toronto and ottawa, that no body else really wants (because everyone else would rather go someplace warmer) and then he gets a horribel case of food poisining, and so he can't come. so now the rest of us are going to toronto and ottawa for the weekend, in november. and everyone is going to bithc to me about it.

always a bad idea to make people go to cold places for work things. It doesnt matter if its to get 1m bonuses, meet prince charles or go to the moon. Something about Cold+Travel+Work=hatred.

One boss took us to minneapolis (we had property there). It was freezing. Next trip we sort of revolted and wound up in Orlando.

Just get enough alcohol into them and take them to a raunchy strip joint. Should be problem solved.
