Yes, anabolics would make inherent genetic and dietary differences moot, though I can't speak to whether the 4 individuals mentiond partook (odds are yes) as I made a conscious effort to avoid the 2008 Olympics. The nauseating American Idol-esque worship of Michael Phelps was too much fro me to endure. As to the examples of individual achievement cited, they are just that: individual. I was referring to factors relevant to Asians as a whole, which when present will, by nature, limit opportunities in the field of male modeling.

There are loads of Asian models out there, but not many Asian-American models. They do much more work in Europe I understand.

Rojam X (Chinese), 6"3 Paris catwalk model and face of Lancome

Rock Ji (Chinese), 6"3 underwear model back in the day (he's in his late thirties now)

Tony Yang (Taiwanese) actor/model

New face of Armani, Takeshi Kaneshiro (Taiwanese-Japanese), model turned actor turned model again

Ohn Ji Wan (Korean) model/ singer/ actor

???

U Gun (Korean), model turned actor

Kiki Kang (Chinese) winner of Elite Model Look of the Year

Ziyi Zhang, 6ft Beijing secretary now a top model after winning Miss World last year

Yuri Ebihara ( Japanese)

Riyo Mori (Ballerina and former Miss Universe)

...got highest score in swimsuit

...but was slated in her native Japan for not having the 'cute' look (see Ebihara above)

Ling (left) and Eing (right) Tan, top model sisters (Malaysian of Chinese descent)

Ling was spotted playing bass with her all girl band, Jungk.
She was at one point the worlds second highest paid model

before younger sister Eing Tan arrived on the scene

Kimora Lee Simmons is ½ African American, ¼ Korean and ¼ Japanese. When she was in her early teens she was super tall (which is why she says people teased her and called her a giraffe). Tyson Beckford is 1/2 chinese. I saw him just now at Whole Foods. Very Handsome in person... although somewhat gangsta in terms of attire.
