Tom Ford FT5237 glasses
Tom Ford is a worldwide brand known for quality and utmost style. These 2012 glasses are an item which describes Tom Ford very very well. If you are looking for a pair of glasses with style and vision that it’s uniquely their own, look no further, these are the glasses you are looking for.
The FT5237 are a shiny transparent dark green men’s glasses. The shape of the glasses is rectangular which means they are pretty much universal for any face shape. This particular model may be 3 years old but I assure you, you will not notice nor even remember that fact because the FT5237 are simply gorgeous. They have a tortoise-like effect on the front and the same effect slightly replicates on the sides. This is definitely one of my favourite things about the FT5237.
I found myself quite often taking the glasses off and putting them in direct sunlight just to see the dark green acetate turn into lighter green. A lot of my friends complimented me on the glasses and they too loved this effect. The frame style is full rim. I don’t have fuller cheeks and I had no issues with the glasses sitting awkwardly on my cheeks when I smile or laugh but some people with fuller cheeks might have this issues, though I doubt it.
The frame material is high quality acetate, but besides acetate there is some another sturdy plastic used for the joints and fashion details. The FT5237 are made in Italy which you can be sure because you receive a confirmation of genuinity but more on that later.
The handles are attached to the front via a high quality plastic tube which has a subtle chrome like effect. I was very impressed to when I noticed how well the screws were blended.
The FT5237 also have springs in the handles which I not always this is a positive thing, but in this case it definitely is. You have a gentle yet reassuring pull that will keep the glasses on your head at any time. You can easily adjust the spring pull with the screwdriver set that came in from
Smart Buy Glasses. This little screwdriver with multiple function can be attached to your keychain and is very useful.
What’s in the box
Tom Ford always offers stunning packages. The glasses came in a nice dark matte box which guards the velvet glasses case. Inside the box you also have the standard Tom Ford letter of confirmation that your product is genuine and indicates the place of production of the product.
The glasses case is lined with the same velvet on the inside which is has on the outside and it will do a great job keeping your glasses safe. You will also find a quite generous microfiber cleaning clothing inside the case. Smart Buy Glasses takes it a step up and packs the whole thing in a cardboard box and then puts in a bubble wrap for the maximum protection during shipping.
Smart Buy Glasses also ships out a multifunctional screwdriver, a very large microfiber cloth and a cleaning solution which works perfectly.
I managed to get my hands on a pair of these beauties at Smart Buy Glasses and they can be yours for about $200.
