SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

This is VERY helpful. Thank you for the detail. My arms are maybe average or slightly bigger (15.5" bicep) for my size and I wasn't thinking about that. I would probably be best with the slimmer sleeve of the slim fit and would be concerned that the extra slim might be tight in the arm.

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Thank you all! In J Crew jeans and chinos I tend to wear a 31x32 but they are definitely vanity sized. My only concern with the S&M extra slim is the high arm hole. I have a a slightly larger chest for my size and don't want it to pull due to the height of the arm hole. I am sure I am...

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Howdy guys - I have not posted in years but a sudden interest in finding OCBD's with a respectable collar roll at a fair price naturally led me to Spier and Mackay. I have discussed fit with S&M over email and wanted to seek more subjective input from the field. For context. I am 5'11" 170lbs...

    Poor man's watch thread

True. I might try to buff it out. On the other hand I know it sounds strange but I always thought a few slight scratches on a vintage watch or even a moon watch gave them some character. I fell in love with the look of a vintage watch when the owner of a clothing boutique I worked in had a mid...

    Poor man's watch thread

I also recently wanted a dive style watch. I am of course a fan of the sub but also really like the Omega Seamaster PO. I thought this citizen fit my need on a budget. It is 300m with ceramic bezel and although not an auto it does have a leg up on a regular quartz since it is eco drive. I really...

    Poor man's watch thread

I am recently married and my wife gave this to me as a gift on our wedding day. It is very cool vintage Vulcain 17 jewel automatic. I am thinking 1950's... I wear it almost every day to work now and love everything about it...the slightly scrtched crystal, the croc embossed Girard-Perregaux...

As I stated my mind is basically made up. I would never look to the Internet to make a decision of this magnitude. On the other hand it is interesting to hear from others that may have been in similar situations and how it worked out. Isn't that the the reason this section of the forum even exists?

    SF Dallas meet up?

I would be down. I don't know anyone yet but I'm in Flower Mound so I am open to Uptown, Plano, Addison, etc... The Londoner or Gingerman is a good place to talk. Also, Vickery Park is cool, has a patio, and serves good Moscow Mules and has a wide beer selection... -Nick

Sebago Campside Blucher Moccasin re release

Here are a few pics of me wearing them. These are a size 11. I grabbed some weatherproof spray for them at Nordstrom today and gave them 2 coats. I wore them yesterday and today and they are quite comfortable with hardly any break in needed. Now I kind of want the dark brown too.

Sebago Campside Blucher Moccasin re release

I picked up a size 11 today. I wear a size 12 in Sperry's and had some on when I tried these on. The difference between an 11 and 12 was minimal. The 12 was too long and the 11 too narrow but I am thinking it should stretch over time and become just right. They look pretty good for under 100...

Sebago Campside Blucher Moccasin re release

I thought the same thing about the 1/2 size. I have been looking for something similar as well and has not pulled the trigger on anything. I guess my buddy is allowed to put down one person on his account to receive 25% off at all times and he listed me. 2 or 3 times per year I get 40% off which...
