Yeah your right, you wouldnt want it too tight around there or it would look peg legged huh. i think some taper might look better, and help straighten the leg when theyre cuffed lower, notice how the front kind of lumps over twice, or is that the normal look? This 514 cut is the best so far, its an 8" opening on a 31 waist. The strummers are only a hair wider, but the extra length makes the cuff too thick. I dont think the way I imagined it to look is even possible, i'd need a 5" hem if it was to literally ride around the boot. the avatar.. i was...- ironman

whats the standard leg/ankel opening for a 501 style, 15-16"? i like the way Get Smart wears his, the cuff seems to ride right on the boot, because the leg opening is like 13"? im attracted to some rb11s, but im thinking the 16" might be too loose and flop around, which i dont want.- ironman
