In the spirit of constructive criticism: These "It's been a while" "Are we breaking up?" emails are really over the top. I could excuse an email like this after 6 months, but I literally got the first email like this before my item had arrived from Luxire and the second email before I had had...

Some carefully placed stretchy panels might also do the job. For example, Arc'teryx puts side panels on their technical mid layers to add breathability and mobility.

Thanks - part of the reason for my choosing linen was for the warm weather performance, so this option might work for hot weather. Although pique linen doesn't necessarily have the classic linen look. A stretchy linen broadcloth would probably suit my needs best assuming it hasn't lost the hot...

@luxire last year you made me a wonderful linen hoodie. I have asked before but I will ask again - have you had any luck sourcing linen jersey fabric or linen with some stretch? As much as I love my linen hoodie it has limited mobility due to the lack of stretch.

Thanks - I will keep the order number handy! I have a pair of OB trunks (34) that are just a size too big, but I'm sure that Luxire could adjust to bring them down to a 33. Saves me having to send mine in!

Those shorts are awesome!! Looks like someone sent in Orlebar Brown trunks to be copied. @luxire if this is the case, what waist size was used as a reference? If they didn't cost as much as regular pants I would definitely buy more. Yes I understand why they are priced that way but it's a...

This is a problem with Luxire's process and it has created expensive problems for me in the past. Unfortunate that it's still happening. It's not good when the client doesn't know exactly what they will get. Anyways, I'm expecting my third pair of jeans in the post tomorrow (first two pairs...

I would consider adding some width to the upper thigh area to create a less prominant transition from the leg into the seat of the pants. I think a tailor would refer to this as the stride. Migth want to x-post on the tailor fit feedback thread.

I decided that Kent Wang's swim trunks were a safer bet.

I have ordered popovers without increasing the measurements... they're a bit of a struggle to get into but fit fine once they're on. Another issue worth considering is unless you have a very flat stomach the lack of buttons at the front tends to accentuate the tummy if it's a very slim fit.

Going to order a shirt right away. Would it be accurate to say that the traditional madras shirt is a button down collar, short sleeves, no pockets?

@Luxire - are orders with more expensive fabrics handled by more experienced craftspeople? I've noticed a high degree of correlation between more expensive fabric choices and precise fit (even when ordering from the same pattern). I know some of it could be drape, etc, but it seems to be more...

I ordered the new copper last fall and while I love the colour, I found they shrunk a tad more than usual in length and they are somewhat prone to wrinkles (moreso than Brisbane Moss fabrics anyways). Not dramatically but noticeably.

I have ordered Brisbane Moss Teal Blue Twill and Brisbane Moss Stone Grey Twill and I would say both fabrics are lovely. Soft and drape well. They seem to be identical except for colour. Any of their fabrics are probably a safe bet - just pick the colour you like. Although I found that the...

My first response is "add as many choices as possible!" but my top priority right now is a raw denim that produces high contrast fades (like Samurai jeans do).
