Which car should I get - New or Used? (POLL)

^^ This is pretty much why Im leaning hard on the new car. The price difference isnt THAT much and in a few years $317 shouldnt be too bad at all. Plus I plan on keeping it for 7-10 years at least, so it will pay for itself in due time. Both interest rates were sub 2%, so its kind of a...

Which car should I get - New or Used? (POLL)

that seems to be the consensus I get, even though its a low mileage car. Id like to hear what other car buying veterans think. Also, with a $4k down payment the used car is $297month for 48 Months while the New is $317 month for 60 months. IS that gap narrow enough to say *******...

Which car should I get - New or Used? (POLL)

I need a new daily driver in the next week to get me 200-250 miles a week. I am not a car guy and dont really want to make huge payments, so this will be a car I buy and hold for 6-8 years at least. NEW CAR: I got a great offer (I think?) for a 2012 Mazda 3i Touring Hatchback with the...

Recommend me a cool 2-door car for less than $10k

whats the difference between a 325 and 330? I found a 325 that was priced right, the 330s all were high mileage (130k+) What about a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C320 Kompressor for 9k with 73k miles? Has anyone bought cars on ebay?

porsche boxster...yes. Now we're talking. Plenty of 1999's with 80-100k miles for under $10k. How are they reliability and maintenance wise? Also, I dont give a crap about practical. No kids, just drive to work. Dont want to help people move **** and never have people in my backseat anyways.

Car shopping is so annoying. 06 Scion TC with 69k miles for $12k -or- 05 Honda Civic with 84k miles for $7k -or- 06 Mazda RX-8 with 65k miles for $10k

Recommend me a cool 2-door car for less than $10k

Huh? Not a car guy so is that the usual SF snark or a serious reply? That car looks old as **** and they dont appear to be cheap. Of course nothing is going to be perfect, but in terms of style and basic substance, the listed cars match most of the criteria. The only true deal breakers are...

Noob Cook: Where do I start?

^ Really? I just follow directions and everything seems to come out alright. If the recipe says cook for 5 minutes, I cook for 5 minutes. Now, if you wanna get pro-chef and Alton Brown science on your ass, sure, but cant most guys just cooking for themselves or a girl follow directions...
