    Where to buy suit brushes

From my research on the forum, it looks like people recommend suit brushes to maintain their suits. What should I look for in a brush, and where should I look? If it helps (and it most certainly does not), I am on a student's budget, so I am looking for something affordable. Thanks in advance.

comfortable dress shoes and custom belts.

I actually find leather/hard soles to be more comfortable and easier on my feet and back than rubber soles. I am a medical student going into surgery and I spend 14+hrs a day on my feet, so footwear is crucial. One thing I would recommend is avoiding anything with corrected grain leather...

    Opinion on E.T. Wright shoes

Size 9D (as far as I can tell). Although I tried a pair of AE fairfax's at Nordstrom Rack recently and the shoe felt long in the toe box, but a 8.5D was definately too short for my arch. Probably just a last issue. BTW, I just perused ebay and didn't see anything of interest.

    Opinion on E.T. Wright shoes

Thanks for the quick replies. As far as eBay goes, I've never purchased anything from there so I'm a bit hesitant. I'd like to start at some point, just not sure if now is the time (although I am tempted, given the good fortune of this forums members). And for the monkstraps, I've always been...

    Opinion on E.T. Wright shoes

What is the general consensus on E.T. Wright shoes. I recently had a mishap that lead to some serious damage to my only pair of dress shoes (poor student), and I need a replacement. Searching the internet I came across these (also available as these). Only having ~$100 to invest (again, poor...

    Source for tie clasps

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good source for tie clasps (and perhaps a manufacturer). I am looking for one that is practical and relatively inexpensive, yet stylish. Working in the medical field I am exposed to countless unpleasantries and would like to prevent my ties from dragging...

    Sole questions- DIY

I recently bought a pair of leather-soled dress shoes on the cheap (the name of which I will omit to avoid the inevitable onslaught) which I am planning on personalizing abit (antiquing, etc.) and would like to spiff up the soles too. This is more of a learning experience than anything else and...

    Prevent stinky shoes

Thanks for all of the replies. The loafer socks sound like a good idea, although I would like to try sockless for a while (never done it before). Ill also have to take a closer look at the Kiwi stuff. What kind of shoes are they? They are Bacco Bucci leather driving shoes.

    Prevent stinky shoes

I recently bought a pair of shoes that I plan on wearing sockless. Is there any way to prevent the shoes from smelling like rotten feet? I do not have an odor problem normally, but when I wear Birkenstocks or flip-flops they tend to develop a nasy smell after a while and I don't want this to...

    Price versus "quality" in clothes

Thanks for the recommendations. For shirts, I prefer a more "athletic" fit as I have wide shoulders and a narrow waist (otherwise I end up looking like an amorphous blob).

    Price versus "quality" in clothes

I was reading the thread "How do others rate Allen Edmonds" and the following statement grabbed my attention: to add to the price/cost opinions, i would say that AE's are right at the knee of the curve where it moves into the territory of diminishing returns. (not that the returns aren't real...
