Anyone have any experience with the Loomstate jeans? I sized up 1 size for the Cone Unsanforized, even though Gustin recommended sizing up 3 sizes, and they were really tight at first. The break-in was rough but now I probably wear them more than any other pair of jeans I have. With the...

They look like pajama bottoms but not nearly as comfortable. I don’t own any other twill joggers but the sweatpants I own can do everything these can and more with more comfort.

I backed these in 2017. I never wear them. They look more like pajama bottoms than activewear.

    Truman Boots

For example, most shoes I wear are 8.5 US. The only shoes I wear that are 7.5 US are Vans that I only wear without socks or no-show socks. Truman at 8.5 were entirely too big. 8 fit with ski socks. The 7.5B Truman fit awesome and I’m sure they will still be great with thick socks.

    Truman Boots

I had a pair of Marrone boots rebuilt recently by Truman and I couldn’t be happier. I bought the boots back in 2016 or 2017. I waited over 20 weeks for them at the time so I did everything possible to make them work but in the end I just ordered the wrong size. Truman has made some changes to...

If the material has little flex then size up from what you would normally wear. If the denim is stretch denim or anything that has more flex to it then you are probably good with whatever you would normally wear. You can't just go off the numbers alone.

    Truman Boots

I wear an 8 to 8.5 in most shoes and I have a narrow foot. My first pair I ordered an 8.5B with structured toe and they are huge. I have hardly worn them. This was before Truman introduced a new last. Truman wants $200+ dollars in order to have them remade. I understand that it is a lot of work...

I looked at the field jacket too but besides the fact that none of Gustin's stuff really fits me that well, the lack of side pockets was a deal-breaker for me. Gustin always has a lot of t-shirts for sale on their store and I've even purchased quite a few of them. Pretty much all of them have...

I thought I had Gustin denim figured out and now I'm back to square one. I finally bought a pair jeans from them that fit really well about 6 month back, so I ordered a different denim in the exact same size and they didn't fit at all. I can wait 2-3 months for something that I think I have a...

    The Vans Thread

I got these a year or so ago. The white on them is an off-white instead of the stark white on pretty much all their other shoes. Where I live, it is over 80 degrees about 8 months out of the year, so I don’t get to wear them as much as I would like but when I do need them, they are comfortable...

    Gustin Appreciation Thread

I’ve posted some things in the past about my difficulties buying jeans from Gustin and after my most recent purchase, I’m thinking a good deal of that may have been a result of user-error. My first pair of jeans from Gustin were unsanforized. I had never purchased any unsanforized jeans before...

Ordering from the campaigns is like the old Mitch Hedberg joke about baked potatoes. They take so long to cook that you should just throw one in the oven every now and then, even if you aren't hungry, and by the time it's ready, who knows. You are better off backing the campaign and then...

Your picture of the Stowa looks much better than any on their site. Good looking watch!

    Poor man's watch thread

From what I have seen looking around, based on the size of the case and cost, I'm thinking that I've narrowed the search to the Lorier Neptune, Baltic Aquascaphe, or the Meraud Bonaire. I definitely like the Tudor Black Bay 58 better but I'm not sure that I like it enough to justify the price...

    Poor man's watch thread

I'm looking for a diver with some gilt details, preferably around 37-39mm. The Tudor Black Bay 58 fits the bill but I would also rather pay under $1,000 than pay what Tudor is asking. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've heard good things about NTH divers but I don't really understand the...

    Poor man's watch thread

I recently saw Fortis' Champagne Beach watch and I think it is pretty sharp? I've never seen it in person, so that would make me a bit nervous about ordering one online. Does anyone have any experience with Fortis watches? If so, what are your thoughts? The only concern I might have is that the...

I'm also a 38S. They told me to order a small in the zip-up lightweight hoodie and it fits great. lol I guess I'll just ask them directly before backing anything else.

Looks good. That is bizarre about the sizing. What size suit jacket do you wear?

    Gustin Appreciation Thread

I just received the lightweight hoodies that I backed in August or September and they are the first thing that I have purchased from Gustin that fit great out of the box. It is pretty warm here year round, so these things are going to be perfect on cooler days or at night. I'm usually a Medium...

Due to a lot of people having similar problems finding their correct size, if you can get your size figured out with their stuff, there is a ton of it on eBay that has hardly been worn, you can get it quickly, and it is less than half the price of backing them.
