You’re right, I’m not saying it’s underhanded or deceitful. My point was based on my recent experiences, collectively, I don’t feel as compelled to impulse buy new arrivals as in the past, even when they have the sales.

Yes. I noticed this most recently with their shorts sale. Original price was $88 and they went down to $68. When they had a buy 2 or more promo the price was back at $88.

I’ve been keeping an eye on outerwear and the price will drop by some amount and then go back up when there’s a sale. I’m not saying it’s not a good deal or the same price as regular price, I just realized the prices don’t keep dropping after each sale.

This describes my experience perfectly. I’ve been a customer for ~7 years and my entire wardrobe is virtually S&M. Since the pandemic something changed. I ordered MTM shirts and two out of three were not even close. The only one they got right was the first one that was supposed to confirm the...

So I can’t get the Boxing Day promo on a custom shirt order until the website is updated?

Tried ordering custom shirts on the website for the first time since it has changed. Seems like there are a lot less fabric options than before. Filtering is not intuitive (can’t select more than one texture), and all of my previous orders are gone. Most importantly I can’t just submit my in...

Is there a reason why there are no 40L options for sportcoats and suits?

Rick, I just got my VBC Neapolitan in Slim fit and you’re right, it’s slimmer than my Havana SS. I must not have been given a slim fit to try in the S&M Toronto Store last year. Do your Slim blazers fit the same as the suit jackets? If so I might be broke very soon.

I ordered the Guabello suit but didn’t see an option for pant size. What size comes with the 40?

Interesting. I normally need the waist taken in on a 40 OTR. I did try a 40 slim in the Toronto store last year and the sales staff said it would need too much alteration to get it to look right.

Rick, I really want to bite the bullet on your suits. I already have about a dozen custom shirts and two trousers from S&M. Last time I tried OTR, all the jackets had too much room around my torso. I'm about 40 to 42 in shoulders with a 31 inch waist. Have your slim fit jackets changed at all in...

Hi Rick, were you able to find out if I can order the sportcoat through MTM? Also, will I be able to place my order through the website, or do I have to go in store? I've already been measure in-store for shirts.

Out of curiosity, why do you love these Oxfords so much? Do you work in an office setting? Basically, should I be buying these shirts too? Haha.

This is the one I was interested in: http://www.spierandmackay.com/product_information/5205_blue__red_check___woolcashmere___contemporary_fit I tried both slim and contemporary and there was too much excess fabric in the waist. I am nearly a perfect 42 at the shoulders, but my waistline is 31.

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Hi Rick, I finally made my first S&M purchase and got eight MTM shirts at the Toronto location. I previously bought pants but unfortunately none of the styles fit me (too tight in the thighs). Anyway, I wanted to pick up one of the new sportcoats but neither the 40R, 40S or 42R come close to...
