anyone ever purchased from topshelfapparel on ebay?

I too have had nothing but great experiences buying from TSA - roughly 10 items bought so far and they've all been beyond great (and authentic). Had to return one shirt due to sizing, which went very smoothly. Surprised to see the negative comments here - FWIW, they're my top menswear eBayer.

Another solid Sonoma Chard in your price range would be Ferrari-Carano - usually pretty easy to find too.

That's one of the things I love about PR - with almost any winery in PR you can just pop in for a tasting (occasionally even with the winemaker!), no appointment necessary. You can afford to be a bit more spontaneous, whereas nowadays when you visit Napa, everything has to be planned out and...

I'd probably throw Clos Solene in this list too - they make some really fun stuff. Certainly can recommend Epoch and Linne Calodo too (recently received lovely shipments from each!)

Alden would be another great, US brand for you to check out as well.

Tom Ford, Loro Piana, Zegna, Pal Zileri?

Might be time to step up the shoe quality a bit. Don't get me wrong - Rockports are fine. But you should be able to get decent AEs, or at least Cole Haans, that are a fair bit better quality than your Rockports. As the previous comments suggest, stepping up the shoe quality first is probably the...

    Men's briefs

IMHO Polo RL make some decent briefs as well, if that's a brand you'd be interested in.

Very happy to have found this thread! I'm a big California Pinot fan - tried a 2012 Expression 39 Pinot from Anderson Creek last night and was highly impressed. Very fruit forward - lots of blueberry and plum, certainly one of my new favorite bottles.

"Graduating" from Hugo Boss Suits to Canvassed. Need recommendations

^ +1 to the Hickey Freeman recommendation if you're willing to spend a hare more. You should be able to find a good HF suit for ~$1,000. Also being of a seemingly similar build to you, they tend to fit nice and slim.

    Dress Shirt Collar Sizing Question

Thanks for both of your advice - appreciate it and that's very helpful to know that I can't alter collar sizes!

    Dress Shirt Collar Sizing Question

Hey guys, I've been browsing posts on here for a while now (I have y'all to thank for introducing me to my favorite online menswear vendors!) but thought I'd make an account since I've got a question for y'all about going up a collar size in dress shirts. I usually wear a 15" collar for...

    Introduce yourself.

Hey y'all! My name's Ian - I'm from the San Francisco Area, California. Kind of new to the menswear scene, and I don't think my bank account's too happy with my new hobby! I've been reading the forum for a little while but felt that it's high time I actually made an account. Mostly looking to...
