Short ties - 56" and under

Thanks for your comments. I am not looking for luxury, just decent ties that look good and shorter than average.I understand that construction and quality won't be amazing, but I still dont understand how a silk tie can simply 'look' cheap.

What about them looks cheap? I'm new to ties and I'm open to learning. What makes the ties in the photos look more expensive than the those in the links?

Short ties - 56" and under

I'm looking for conservative ties and patterns, similar to what Daniel Craig wears: They do have ugly ties, but aren't these similar to the above? Or do I need to get my eyes checked? https://www.eterna.de/en/men/ties/eterna-silk-tie-navy-white-patterned-7.5-cm-wide-14881...

Short ties - 56" and under

For those of you interested, I've finally discovered a German brand that does 56" ties, which I think is a perfect length for men 5'6" to 5'9" who prefer the 'four in hand' knot. They come in two widths: 2.4inch (6cm) and 3inch (7.5cm) and they are all 100% silk. Priced very reasonably at...

Short ties - 56" and under

Thanks for all the suggestions. Hober appears to be the best, since you can choose both width and length. However, they are very expensive, especially since I would have to pay various taxes (they ship from Thailand and I'm in Europe). I'm at a loss why everyone seems to make such long ties...

Short ties - 56" and under

I have been searching everywhere - brick n mortar and online - for ties suitable for shorter men like me. I would like to be able to tie a four in hand knot, which is impossible when you're only 5'8" and the tie is 60" long. I am forced to tie a windsor, which in my opinion only suits tall and...
