@Seph: Is there a systematic rule how wide the bottom hem is? I.e. how far from the bottom it is stitched? With most Soft Ivy shirts I've noted that it is wider (more of the "normal" width of 0.25" or so), whereas with dress shirt type fabrics & collars it is a very tight stitch. However, the...- AriG

Mad much? Again? I can 100% say that it's aniline, so it's no darkened voak. And it's not burgundy. It does look like this (from G&G facebook, captioned espresso), not so much certain other images: Surely light plays a role. But again, no one was mad about this in the first place.- AriG

Couple more shots after an initial soft shine. I think there was nothing on there at all. Interesting that I ordered the espresso aniline (supposed to be all-weather shoe), but the color still has some mahagony type tones. Wouldn't have picked it, but it's not unattractive. Yeah, I'd definitely go black all day over tan, really don't like this conventional tan, it shows dark stains from friction and just is too contrasty and frankly, lame. Black should be with black by default, if not a color like red or so. Not sure how light and bright G&Gs red is. I love my...- AriG
