Hello Ranch! Sorry for the extremely late reply! I too, have the RL Marlow in brown shell, and also a black cap-toe Alden in black shell. I don't wear the RL's with suits because the double sole and the reverse welt just makes them look too clunky to me. That's the reason for the shell...- TLHouston

Approx 8 months and 20+ wears, but not all day wears-- Usually just about 4-6 hours at a time-- I also have the Strand in walnut and brown shell, but these are my favorite.- TLHouston

My left shoe does this on almost every pair I own. It's due to having a low instep, or flat feet. My feet aren't flat, but neither do I have a high arch. Hope this helps!- TLHouston

Last question: I'm normally a 9.5d in the 65 last pretty much across the board. Although I do have 2 pairs of 9e in the 65 last. I'm interested in a Leeds, but have never tried on the 511 last. Any sizing differences that you gents have experienced that I should be aware of? Please let me know!- TLHouston
